Miloš Dopsaj is a renowned bassoonist and educator. He was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and began his musical journey by winning several national competitions in former Yugoslavia as a bassoonist and chamber musician. He studied bassoon at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the guidance of Professor Mirko Isaeski. In 2004, he continued his studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin, studying with Professor Eckart Hübner.

Throughout his career, Dopsaj has participated in various youth orchestras such as JO »Borislav Pašćan«, Junge Donau Philharmonie, RIAS Jugendorchester, and the Festival of Young Artists in Bayreuth, Germany. He has also attended bassoon and chamber music masterclasses with notable musicians like Gabor Janota, Knut Sönstevold, and Aurèle Nicolet.

At the age of 18, Dopsaj secured his first permanent position as the solo bassoonist in the "Stanislav Binički" Symphony Orchestra in Belgrade. He then went on to perform with the National Opera in Belgrade. During his studies in Berlin, he became a permanent member of the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra, serving as the second bassoonist and contrabassoonist.

In 2016, Miloš Dopsaj achieved a significant next step in his career by winning the permanent position of solo bassoonist with the Münster Symphony Orchestra. His exceptional skills and musicality have made him a valued member of the orchestra.

Additionally, Dopsaj has established himself as a sought-after musician in the German music scene. He regularly performs as a guest artist with renowned orchestras in Germany, enriching his musical repertoire and expanding his professional network.

As of 2023, Dopsaj has also taken on a teaching role as a bassoon lecturer at the University of Münster Music Academy. His expertise and experience make him a valuable resource for aspiring bassoonists at the university.
